The Wilderness First Responder course is a comprehensive 70+ hour course that provides essential training in wilderness medicine, leadership, and critical thinking for professionals and leaders working in outdoor, low-resource, and remote environments. It is also an ideal course for people who live in rural areas and those that like to adventure far. Online coursework will be made available on August 6th. Enrollment Deadline = September 17, 2025 Courses tend to fully enroll 8+ weeks before the start date!

Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification

The Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification course is designed for those who hold a current WFR certification from a reputable organization. Current certifications must meet the WMEC Standards. Those with a WEMS certification may use this course to recertify. This course is geared towards brushing off the cobwebs and refining skills. Online coursework will be made available on August 22nd. Enrollment Deadline = October 3, 2025 Courses tend to fully enroll 8+ weeks before the start date!

EMT Refresher

Crowley Lake Community Center 482 S Landing Rd, Mammoth Lakes, CA

The EMT Refresher Course meets the 24 hours of coursework required to renew in the State of California, including skill verification. CEUs can be applied toward the National Registry 40-hour requirement. The course includes BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR through the Health & Safety Institute and covers the required State of California training in Naloxone and Epinephrine administration and glucometer use. Instructions for accessing the online learning management system to complete paperwork and gain access to prep materials will be made available September 6, 2025. Enrollment Deadline = October 11, 2025
